Access control systems
Access control systems in Manchester
Greater Manchester. Engineers are based in Stockport. This page is the Manchester note, not a claim of a local branch.
On the ground in Manchester
Manchester work is mostly multi-let offices and apartment stairs, plus the odd mill floor in Ancoats that still has a standalone keypad on the goods lift. MediaCity and the city core are on the regular run from Stockport. We are not a Spinningfields reception desk.
Doors we expect
Glass lobby doors with shearmagnets, riser cupboards on fob, and cycle stores that were added after the original Net2 licence. A new tower and a 1970s stair do not share a hardware list.
How the visit is booked
City-centre jobs need a loading bay or a booked goods lift. We ask for that before we promise a morning. Quotes are POA once the existing controller is named.
Electronic access control is read against BS EN 60839-11. Fire-alarm release of a lock is read against BS 7273-4. We do not cite the withdrawn BS EN 50133 as if it were current, and we do not claim an NSI or SSAIB badge on this page.

Questions about Manchester
Can you take over a Manchester system if we do not have the installer login?
Often, if the controller can be reset to a new software owner without wiping a fire interface. If the panel is locked to a monitoring firm, we say so before we book a full day.
Do you publish a price for Manchester?
No. The visit is price on application. Door count, the controller and the travel decide the quote.
Which phone number do I use?
Call 07517806082. The workshop is in Offerton, Stockport, even when the doors are in Manchester.
Manufacturers on this work
Every access-control brand in our catalogue is linked below. Tunstall is a nurse-call system and is not part of this list. We install, take over or service these platforms. We do not claim a dealer badge we have not been given.
