On this visit we pay attention to hatch access and lighting; internal condition from a safe viewpoint; and turnover and any obvious stagnation. Confined-space entry is not assumed. If the hatch is not a safe inspection, we stop and say what access is required. We do not claim a diving team or a confined-space crew on this page.
