AOV and smoke control in Elland

AOV work for Elland starts from the fire strategy and the panel that is actually on the wall. Calderdale / Yorkshire and the Humber. Gazetteer population 15,625. SK2 distance about 23 miles.

Mixed-use schemes in Calderdale put shops under flats. The smoke control has to match that stack, including sites around Elland. See also Rastrick (2.1 miles), Halifax (2.2 miles), Brighouse (2.6 miles).

The usual buildings are residential stairs, offices over a podium, schools, hotels and older commercial cores. Closest other towns on this list: Rastrick (2.1 miles), Halifax (2.2 miles), Brighouse (2.6 miles).

Panel, actuator, vent and interface are quoted as separate lines when Elland only needs one of them. Full replacements are quoted when the system cannot be kept.

There is no single AOV house brand on this page. SE Controls, Nuaire, Brooks, Geze, D+H, Colt, TROX and the others below are all in scope. The survey says which one is installed.

A weekly visual check is not a substitute for a functional test of the actuator and the panel. Elland logbooks should show both.

We coordinate with the fire-alarm maintainer when the interface is theirs. The AOV certificate should say what was witnessed in Elland.

Quotes are POA. The number is 07517806082. Photos of the panel door help; they do not replace the survey.

At 23 miles, Elland is diaried with other Yorkshire and the Humber AOV visits when that helps the building, not when it hides a second call-out.

The Yorkshire and the Humber visit to Elland includes time to find the panel, not only the vent. The nation file says England. Call 07517806082 and name the panel if you can. Actuator stroke is checked against the vent, not a catalogue photo.
