About Access Barrier
An access barrier is a rising arm whose lane opens from a credential: a fob, a reader, an intercom release or a timed validation. The arm without the credential is only a parking barrier.
We join the reader or intercom to a volt-free input the barrier controller will accept, and we leave the safety devices in circuit. A shared keypad code left on the pedestal because the fobs failed is the fault we remove, not the design we recommend. Pedestrian doors beside the lane are access-control work and are quoted with the door survey, not assumed from the boom. North West sites are diary work from Stockport SK2. The figure is POA. Call 07517806082 and say whether the cabinet is already CAME or another plate.
- ●Credential and boom specified as one lane
- ●Safety photocells and loops left in circuit
- ●Shared keypad codes treated as a fault, not a design

Can one fob open the barrier and the lobby door?+
Often, when both systems can share a token. We check that before we promise a single credential.

No. We find the cause. Bypassing a safety device is refused.
