About Basement Tanking Support
Basement tanking support is the lining of a below-ground wall or floor with a named tanking system, after we know where the water is coming from.
We do not paint a slurry on a wet wall and call a cellar dry. The system — cementitious tanking or a cavity drain membrane — is chosen for the water and written down. Drainage, pumps and finishes are only in the quote if they are listed. A room that is partly below ground needs the detail at the ground line, not just the wet patch. We are honest when a structural waterproofing designer should specify it. The POA follows the area and the system. iComply quotes it from Stockport.
- ●System named before work starts
- ●Ground line detailed
- ●A blocked drain is not tanked over
- ●Written POA after a look — no catalogue £ figure

Basement Tanking Support FAQ
Will tanking stop water if the drain is blocked?+
No. If water is standing because a drain has failed, the drain is the job. Tanking over a flood is not a specification.
Do you guarantee a dry cellar?+
We install the system we named, to its details. We do not guarantee a cellar we have not designed.
How is Basement Tanking Support priced?+
Price on application after we know area below ground and which tanking system is appropriate. iComply does not publish a catalogue £ figure for this job.
