About CCTV Cabling Installation
CCTV cabling installation is the backbone of reliable video — poor coax, CAT cable or power routes cause dropouts, noise and failed remote access. iComply plan and install CCTV cabling across the North West using appropriate cable types, containment, labelling and test practices for new builds, refurbishments and camera expansions.
We survey routes through ceilings, risers, external walls and underground ducts, then install RG59/coax, CAT5e/CAT6 or composite cables with correct bend radii and segregation from heavy power where practical. External runs are weather-sealed; internal runs use trunking or basket as the site requires. Labelling at camera and recorder ends speeds future maintenance. Cable-only packages are available for electrical contractors, with full camera terminations optional from our Stockport engineers.

CCTV Cabling Installation FAQ
Can existing alarm or network cable be reused for CCTV?+
Sometimes if type, length and condition are suitable. We test rather than assume — failed reuse is cheaper to discover before cameras are mounted.
Do you install underground duct for car parks?+
Yes where groundworks are in scope or coordinated with your civils contractor. We specify pull routes and draw cords for future cameras.
Is wireless a substitute for cabling?+
Wireless helps some positions but is not always as stable as wired backbone. We recommend cable for primary record paths whenever practical.
