About Ceiling MF Grid Boarding
Ceiling MF grid boarding hangs a metal grid and boards it, giving a flat ceiling under uneven joists or under services.
We hang the grid to a line, with hangers into structure that will hold it, not into a lath that has already failed. Service zones are agreed so we are not cutting the grid apart for pipes afterwards. Boards are screwed and staggered. Access hatches are framed if you need one. The POA is the ceiling area and the drop. iComply quotes it from Stockport.
- ●Hangers into sound structure
- ●Drop agreed against headroom
- ●Hatches and lights planned
- ●Written POA after a look — no catalogue £ figure

Ceiling MF Grid Boarding FAQ
How far down does it come?+
The drop you agree. We measure headroom before we hang it, especially on a landing.
Can lights sit in the grid?+
Yes if we know the positions. A hole cut later in the wrong place is a board replacement.
How is Ceiling MF Grid Boarding priced?+
Price on application after we know area, drop and whether an access hatch is needed. iComply does not publish a catalogue £ figure for this job.
