About Dot and Dab Dry Lining

Dot and dab dry lining is plasterboard stuck back to a masonry wall with adhesive dabs, used on dry internal walls that are straight enough.

External solid walls and any wall with damp get a different lining. Dabs plus a continuous ribbon where the board needs it, plumb, with sockets cut to a layout. We leave a gap at the floor the system wants so the board is not standing in a future spill. Skim is separate unless listed. The POA is the wall area. iComply quotes it from Stockport.
