About Emergency Lighting Certification
Emergency lighting certification and formal records demonstrate that systems have been installed, tested or maintained to an agreed standard. iComply provide BS 5266-related certification and documentation after installs, major modifications and competent testing across the North West. Based in Stockport, we make paperwork clear for insurers, freeholders and facilities auditors—not buried in jargon.
Meaningful certification follows real work: verified coverage, function and duration results, and known remedials closed or scheduled. We issue documentation for new installations, significant upgrades and periodic testing programmes, and we help rebuild missing historical records through survey and verification where feasible. Certificates and reports should sit with the fire logbook and fire risk assessment actions. If a previous contractor left incomplete files, we can establish a baseline and then maintain it under a service agreement so next year’s audit is calmer than the last.
- ●Certification packs after new installs and major upgrades
- ●Test and maintenance records for ongoing compliance
- ●Baseline surveys where historical paperwork is incomplete
- ●Logbook-friendly formats for landlords and FM teams
