About EV Charger Certification
EV charger certification is the electrical certificate for the charge-point circuit we install or alter. It is not a substitute for an EICR of the whole building.
New circuits receive an electrical installation certificate. Minor alterations receive the certificate that matches that work. We do not stamp a charger someone else fitted last year unless we are instructed to inspect and we can verify the work. Certification of our own install is part of that job. A standalone inspection is POA. Enquire saying whether we fitted the unit.
- ●Certificate matched to the work actually done
- ●Not sold as a whole-house EICR
- ●Third-party installs inspected only when instructed
- ●Standalone inspection is POA

EV Charger Certification FAQ
Do I get a certificate on install day?+
For our installs, yes, once test results are complete. We do not hand over a blank form.
Can you certificate a charger bought online and fitted by someone else?+
Only after an inspection we are instructed to do, and only if we can verify it. That visit is POA and may end in a remedial list.
Is this the same as an EICR?+
No. An EICR is a periodic report on an existing installation. This page is the certificate for the charger work.
Is EV Charger Certification priced on this page?+
No. Enquire and we quote POA after survey. This page does not publish a fee.
