About Fire Rated Boarding
Fire-rated boarding is a tested board system on a wall or ceiling that needs a fire performance, not a thicker sheet of ordinary plasterboard.
We fit the board, the screws, the joints and the openings the test requires. A letterbox, a socket or a gap above the head can destroy the rating, and we flag them. We do not certify a wall we have invented. If you need a stated rating, it comes from the system manufacturer or the designer, and we install that. The POA names the system. iComply quotes it from Stockport.
