About Flat Roof Edge Carpentry
Flat roof edge carpentry repairs the timber kerb, the firrings or the deck edge that the covering is trying to dress to.
A new membrane on a rotten kerb fails at the edge. We replace the rotten timber, set a fall if the firrings have collapsed, and leave an edge the roofer can dress to. We do not felt it ourselves unless the quote includes the covering. Decayed timber is cut back to sound wood. The POA is the edge we have opened. iComply quotes it from Stockport.
- ●Rotten kerbs replaced
- ●Falls corrected if the firrings have gone
- ●Covering is a separate line unless included
- ●Written POA after a look — no catalogue £ figure

Flat Roof Edge Carpentry FAQ
Do you do the felt as well?+
Only if the covering is on the quote. Otherwise we leave the edge ready for the roofer.
Why is the edge the leak?+
Because the drip and the upstand live there. A rotten kerb opens the covering.
How is Flat Roof Edge Carpentry priced?+
Price on application after we know how much of the edge timber is soft. iComply does not publish a catalogue £ figure for this job.
