Gas Meter Works FAQ
Can you move a gas meter yourself without the supplier?+
Meter ownership and relocation rules vary. Some works require the meter asset manager or licensed parties. We advise what iComply can complete on site and what must be ordered through your supplier.
Do you handle both domestic and commercial meter areas?+
Yes for typical domestic and light commercial setups. Large industrial metering may need specialist contractors; we will tell you honestly if that applies after survey.
Will you recertificate appliances after meter works?+
After pipework or supply alterations we purge, test and commission affected appliances as agreed in the quote, with safety records retained for your compliance file.
