About Insulation After Loft Boarding
Insulation after loft boarding lifts storage boards that have crushed the quilt, and reinstates depth underneath on legs.
Boards screwed to the joists flatten insulation to almost nothing. We lift them, add depth between and over the joists, and refit a boarding zone on stilts where you still need to store. The whole loft does not need to be a floor. Cables and pipes are kept accessible. The POA is the boarded area plus the loft depth you want back. iComply quotes it from Stockport.
- ●Crushed quilt reinstated
- ●Storage kept on legs
- ●Cables left reachable
- ●Written POA after a look — no catalogue £ figure

Insulation After Loft Boarding FAQ
Can you leave the boards down?+
Only if they are raised. Boards on the joists and a proper loft depth cannot occupy the same space.
Will I still be able to walk in the loft?+
On the boarded zone we put back. The rest is insulation, not a floor.
How is Insulation After Loft Boarding priced?+
Price on application after we know how much is boarded and how deep the crushed quilt is. iComply does not publish a catalogue £ figure for this job.
