About Intruder Alarm Certification
Intruder alarm certification and commissioning documentation help prove your system was installed and maintained to recognised standards. iComply provide installation handover packs, service records and grade-aware documentation aligned with PD 6662 / BS EN 50131 practice for homes and businesses across the North West. Based in Stockport, we support landlords, insurers’ requirements and commercial compliance files with clear written evidence after works.
Certification needs vary: some insurers request specific grades, NSI/SSAIB-style install quality, or evidence of annual maintenance. We design and document systems accordingly and issue service sheets after planned visits. Existing systems without paperwork can be surveyed, tested and brought under a maintenance regime with baseline records. Always share your insurance schedule wording before final design so documentation matches what underwriters expect. Multi-site clients can receive consistent certificate-style reports across the estate.

Intruder Alarm Certification FAQ
Do all intruder alarms need formal certification?+
Not every domestic system requires third-party scheme certification, but good documentation and maintenance records are always wise—and sometimes insurer-mandated for commercial sites.
Can you certificate an alarm installed by someone else?+
We can survey, test and maintain third-party systems and issue our service records. Full retrospective scheme certification depends on system condition and scheme rules.
What documents will I receive after installation?+
Typically zone lists, user guidance, commissioning notes and maintenance recommendations; additional forms can be provided where scoped.
