About Loft Insulation
Loft insulation is a quilt or roll laid in a cold loft, between and over the joists, without blocking the ventilation at the eaves.
We look at the depth already there, the tanks, the cables and the walkways. Cables are not buried under insulation where that would overheat them; we lift them above. The loft hatch is a hole in the insulation unless it is on the quote. Boarding for storage is a separate line because boards crush the quilt. The POA follows the loft area and the depth we are adding. iComply quotes it from Stockport.
- ●Eaves left open
- ●Cables lifted clear
- ●Storage boarding is not allowed to crush the quilt
- ●Written POA after a look — no catalogue £ figure

Loft Insulation FAQ
Can I board the loft for storage afterwards?+
Yes, on legs that keep the insulation deep. Boards laid on the joists squash it flat.
Do you move the tanks?+
We work around them and lag them if that is listed. Replacing a tank is not this job.
How is Loft Insulation priced?+
Price on application after we know loft area, current depth and whether you want to store boards up there. iComply does not publish a catalogue £ figure for this job.
