About PD 6662 Alarm System
PD 6662 is the UK application of European intruder and hold-up alarm standards — the framework insurers and professional installers expect. iComply design, install and maintain PD 6662 alarm systems for homes, shops, offices and multi-site estates across Greater Manchester and the wider North West. From Stockport we specify grade, detectors and signalling so your system is defensible at audit and practical day to day.
A PD 6662-aligned project starts with a survey: premises type, risk, cable routes, power and monitoring needs. We then select graded equipment, programme zones and confirmation logic, and commission with walk-tests and user training. Documentation covers system grade, device schedules and handover notes. Existing non-compliant installs can often be brought closer to PD 6662 through targeted upgrades rather than full rip-out. Maintenance contracts keep batteries, sensors and signalling healthy between visits.
- ●PD 6662-aligned design from first survey to handover
- ●Correct grade selection for domestic and commercial risk
- ●Commissioning certificates and system schedules
