We survey the PBX or cloud UC tenant, install SIP door stations and any analogue gateways required, and prove call quality and release codes end-to-end. Documentation covers SIP credentials handling, failover notes and user how-to for reception teams. From Stockport we cover Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside. Security hardening — strong passwords, firmware levels and restricted management access — is part of our commissioning checklist, not an afterthought.
- ●SIP door and desk station design against your UC or PBX platform
- ●DTMF or relay lock release proven during commissioning
- ●IT coordination for SIP trunks, codecs and network security
- ●Reception training and admin documentation at handover

SIP Intercom Installation FAQ
Will SIP intercom work with Microsoft Teams or cloud PBX?+
Many SIP stations and gateways integrate with cloud UC via certified or supported paths. We confirm compatibility before you order hardware.
How does the door unlock on a SIP call?+
Usually by pressing a DTMF key that triggers a relay on the door station or interface. We set and test the digit during commissioning.
Is SIP more complex than a standalone intercom?+
It needs more IT involvement, but day-to-day answering is simpler when staff already live on their desk phones or soft clients.
