About Weatherproof Coatings
Weatherproof coatings are breathable or elastomeric paints and thin coatings on a render or brick face that is already sound.
A coating is not a new render. We clean, treat growth, and fill coat-deep cracks the product allows. We do not coat a hollow render, a face that is dusty and unbound, or a wall that is wet inside. The product is named, including whether it is breathable, because a film over a damp solid wall makes the damp worse. The POA is the area we are allowed to coat after the preparation look. iComply quotes it from Stockport.
- ●Sound backgrounds only
- ●Product named, including breathability
- ●Hollow render is not coated
- ●Written POA after a look — no catalogue £ figure

Weatherproof Coatings FAQ
Will a coating fix blown render?+
No. Blown render comes off. Coating it glues the failure on for a season.
Is it the same as silicone render?+
No. A coating is a film. Silicone render is a build-up. We say which one is on the quote.
How is Weatherproof Coatings priced?+
Price on application after we know area, how much preparation, and whether the wall is dry enough. iComply does not publish a catalogue £ figure for this job.
