Access control systems
Access control systems in York
North Yorkshire. Engineers are based in Stockport. This page is the York note, not a claim of a local branch.
On the ground in York
York city-centre doors are often in tight, older fabric where a surface maglock looks wrong and a listed consent may apply. Out-of-town offices on the ring are ordinary commercial doors. We ask which of the two you have before we talk about readers.
Doors we expect
Back-of-house doors for hospitality, and office suites that share a stair with a tenant who must not receive the master token. The master token is a decision, not a default.
How the visit is booked
York is a planned day from Stockport. Parking and access hours inside the walls are part of the survey note. Price on application.
Electronic access control is read against BS EN 60839-11. Fire-alarm release of a lock is read against BS 7273-4. We do not cite the withdrawn BS EN 50133 as if it were current, and we do not claim an NSI or SSAIB badge on this page.

Questions about York
Will you install a maglock on a York listed door?
Not by default. If the opening is sensitive we look for a lock that the door can accept, or we decline the fixing.
Do you publish a price for York?
No. The visit is price on application. Door count, the controller and the travel decide the quote.
Which phone number do I use?
Call 07517806082. The workshop is in Offerton, Stockport, even when the doors are in York.
Manufacturers on this work
Every access-control brand in our catalogue is linked below. Tunstall is a nurse-call system and is not part of this list. We install, take over or service these platforms. We do not claim a dealer badge we have not been given.
