We will not invent a preferred smoke-vent brand for Largs. If the fire strategy names an actuator, that is the one we test.

Batteries, rain sensors and end-of-travel faults are ordinary. They are still written up. A stuck-open vent in weather is a building problem, not a cosmetic one.

BS EN 12101, BS 9991 and Approved Document B are the reference points. We record the fire-alarm interface rather than assuming the vent will open because a magnet dropped out.
