After install or major change we verify each door’s lock behaviour, exit devices, fire interfaces where present, reader function and admin software access. Stockport engineers record controller locations, credential types and any known limitations. For existing systems we can survey and document current condition with a remedial list. Certification-style packs are included when agreed in the job scope. Combine with planned servicing to keep records current year after year.

Access Control Certification FAQ
Is access control certification a legal certificate?+
There is no single universal statutory certificate like a gas safety record. We provide professional commissioning documentation recognised by competent managers and auditors.
Will you certificate doors we already have?+
We can test and document performance and list defects. Fullest packs follow installation or upgrade works we complete.
Do you include software admin credentials in the pack?+
Securely, yes—for nominated client contacts. We avoid leaving default passwords active on any controller.
