Access Control Panel FAQ
Where should an access control panel be mounted?+
In a secure, accessible plant or comms area with power and data—not above a false ceiling where heat and access are poor. We advise per site.
Can one panel run multiple buildings?+
Often doors in one building share a panel or cluster; multi-building sites may use networked controllers. Distance and cable type matter.
What backup battery life should we expect?+
Depends on lock type and load. We specify batteries for a sensible outage window and test them on maintenance visits.
