About Barrier induction loop
An induction loop is a coil in the road surface that tells the barrier a vehicle is there. Cut depth, number of turns and feeder pair decide whether it works.
We test loop inductance and the detector's tuning rather than replacing a boom because 'the barrier is slow'. A loop that misses a motorcycle or holds on for an HGV is a geometry fault. Resin and slot depth matter on a worn deck. We will not cut a loop into a public highway. Price on application once the slab or the block paving is seen.
