Door Entry Certification FAQ
Is door entry certification legally required?+
Not as a single statutory certificate in all cases, but professional commissioning records support building handover, warranties and management due diligence.
Will insurers ask for door entry paperwork?+
Sometimes after incidents or for higher-risk blocks. Clear install and test records help demonstrate competent management.
Can you re-commission after another contractor’s install?+
We can test and document what we find, and list non-compliances or defects. Full sign-off is strongest on works we complete.
