Biometric doors need careful placement, lighting consideration, enrolment process and a fallback credential for hygiene or sensor issues. Our Stockport engineers survey traffic flow and door hardware before specifying fingerprint readers and controllers that fit your compliance needs. We also integrate fingerprint readers into multi-door systems where only sensitive doors use biometrics and general areas use cards or fobs.

Fingerprint Access Control FAQ
Is fingerprint access control reliable for busy doors?+
It suits controlled staff doors better than very high-throughput public entrances; we advise during survey based on traffic and environment.
Do you still provide a backup entry method?+
Yes. We typically include a PIN, card or override process so authorised users are not locked out if a finger read fails.
Can fingerprint readers work outdoors?+
Some models are rated for external use, but weather and contamination affect performance; we recommend suitable products after inspection.
