A strobe is not a decoration and it is not automatically required in every room. The fire strategy or the care plan has to say where vision is the warning. We match the device to the panel circuit, check it does not overload the sounder line, and record the locations on the device list. Standalone domestic plug-in strobes are declined when the building needs a monitored system.

Visual devices on a fire alarm are not the same product as a BS 8629 evacuation alert system. We will say which one you asked for.
