About Loft Hatch Insulation
Loft hatch insulation treats the hatch as the hole it is: a lid that is insulated and draught-sealed, not a bare board into the loft.
We insulate the lid with a thickness that still lets it close, fit a seal, and check the frame is not leaking loft air into the landing. A hatch in a tight airing cupboard is measured before we add a quilt that stops it shutting. The loft around the opening is pulled back so it does not jam the lid. The POA is the hatch, and any surround we have to make good. iComply quotes it from Stockport.
