Paxton Access Control Installation FAQ
Is Paxton suitable for residential blocks?+
Yes. Communal entrance doors, bin stores and plant rooms are common applications, with management software controlled by the freeholder or managing agent.
Can lost fobs be disabled immediately?+
Tokens can be barred in software so a lost fob no longer opens doors, without re-keying the entire building.
Do doors unlock when the fire alarm activates?+
Where required by the fire strategy, we wire fail-safe release or interface modules so escape routes remain available during an alarm.
