Commercial kitchen gas safety interlocks, valves and the appliances under the hood
Kitchen gas safety is the appliances, the ventilation interlock and the shut-off — a domestic boiler check does not cover a six-burner range.
What this commercial job is
We need the appliance list and whether a suppression system already drops the gas. Access has to be outside service or in a planned shutdown.
Defects that leave an appliance unsafe are isolated. We do not turn it back on so the lunch sitting can continue.

Questions facilities teams ask
Does this include the suppression system?
Only if you book that job as well. Gas and suppression are different competences.
Can you come before a council visit?
Ask early. We will not promise a pass.
What about the basement boiler as well?
List it. It may be the same engineer or a second attendance.
