Works range from new-build first-fix cable to replacement of damaged sections after water ingress or previous DIY joins. We continuity-test cores, check insulation where appropriate, and coordinate with lock power and fire-release circuits so door entry does not share unsafe routes. Serving Stockport, Manchester and the wider North West, we support managing agents who need cabling remedials before a full system upgrade. Documentation lists cable types, routes and termination points for the building file.

Door Entry Cabling FAQ
Can bad cabling cause video door entry freeze or snow?+
Yes. Damaged, undersized or poorly joined cable is a common cause of video noise and audio crackle. Testing often finds the fault before costly handset swaps.
Do you reuse existing door entry cable?+
When cores test healthy and match the new system’s requirements we reuse them to reduce cost and disruption. Failed sections are replaced only where needed.
Will you work in occupied blocks?+
Yes. We plan riser access with agents, protect common areas and keep street doors secure while cable works are underway.
