About Lift Floor Access Integration Advice

Lift floor access advice is about which floors a credential may select. It is not a lift repair, and it is not a change to the safety circuit inside the lift controller.

The lift contractor remains responsible for the lift. We advise on the reader, the relay or the destination-control interface their panel will accept, and we programme the floors you actually want restricted. A residential block in Manchester and a hospital lift in another city do not get the same floor map. We will not bridge out a safety contact to make a reader ‘work’. If the lift company will not provide a drawing, the advice stops at a written question list. The note is POA. Call 07517806082 to book it.

●Floor list agreed before any relay is wired
●Interface taken from the lift company’s drawing
●Safety circuits left to the lift contractor
●POA written advice, install only when the interface is clear

Lift Floor Access Integration Advice FAQ

Can you stop a resident reaching the plant floor?+

Usually, if the lift panel has a floor-inhibit input and the lift company will use it. We do not guess across the terminals.

Do you maintain lifts?+

No. Lift maintenance stays with the lift contractor.

Will one fob do the door and the lift?+

That is the usual aim. It depends on the reader technology the lift interface will accept.
